SAFETY ZONE

Our focus on safety is one of the most important aspects of our club and its members. Bike safety protocols, group ride leadership, proper equipment and education are all essential for a fun and safe cycling experience.

We advocate for proper lighting including a requirement for a quality helmet, clothing and gear. This would also include a well maintained and properly serviced bike. HBC stresses the need to follow all local and state laws regarding bike safety.
